Miss Idaho Age Eligibility
Miss Idaho (Miss America Division)
Delegates must be at least 18 years old by September 1, 2026.
Delegates must be no older than 28 years old as of September 30, 2026.
Miss Idaho’s Teen Age Eligibility
Miss Idaho’s Teen (Miss America’s Teen Division)
Delegates must be at least 14 years old by September 1, 2026.
Delegates must be no older than 18 years old as of September 30, 2026.
Teen Age Criteria – Additional Notes
18-year-olds are allowed a one-time “pivot” year to choose between the Teen or Miss division. Once a division is selected, it cannot be changed until the next competition cycle.

Residency Requirements
Delegates must meet at least ONE of the following criteria:
Residency: Must have lived in Idaho for at least 120 consecutive days prior to the date of competition. Proof of residency is required.
Employment: Must be employed full-time, in-person (minimum 40 hours/week) in Idaho for at least 120 consecutive days prior to competition. Documentation is required.
Student Status: Must be enrolled full-time at an accredited Idaho college or university. Full-time status is determined by the institution and must be verified with documentation.
Citizenship Requirement
Must be a citizen of the United States.

How to Get Started
Registration for the Class of 2026 opens on October 1st!

Register through the Miss America Opportunity delegate portal.
Pay the $50 MAO registration fee.*

To compete at Miss Idaho, a $475 state registration fee is required*.
Upon payment of the $150 deposit, delegates will receive a crown and local title sash.
* Your membership is valid for one competition season.

Over the months leading up to the competition preparation and paper could include:
Eligibility Documents: Proof of citizenship, age, and residency.
Judge’s Paperwork: Fact Sheet and Community Service Initiative Essay.
Delegate Headshot: Submit a high-resolution headshot.
Talent Music Submission: (If applicable) Provide your talent music.
Ad Sales for Competition Magazine: $750 Spotlight Ad + any additional ad sales.
America Heart Association Donation: Every state delegate to raise a $350 donation.
Timely submission of these items is essential to move forward in the process!
